Turn the device horizontally to display the text. Also, you have the choice of "read it to me" where the voice reads the story and the pages turn automatically, or "read it myself" where the voice is turned off and the young reader can advance the story at their own pace. The gentle and engaging voice of the reader means Bertie's adventures are perfect for bedtime or will help pass the time on a long journey. Just like the other titles from the Story Mouse, all the Bertie stories are a pure listening experience for younger children, as well as a collection of read-along books for those who are just starting to learn their ABCs. Bertie's app comes with one free story and you can safely purchase other titles in the range using your iTunes account. If you'd like to hear a preview of Bertie's tales, you can sample the first few pages of each book. Once you've purchased a story, it can be retrieved on all mobile devices associated with your iTunes account.
